Reconstructing the 1936 BSA exhibition using the Ashmolean’s Sir Arthur Evans Archive : The Minoan Room

This publication aims to reconstruct the Minoan Room from an exhibition titled ‘British Archaeological Discoveries in Greece and Crete 1886 to 1936’ which took place at the Royal Academy in London in autumn 1936. The Minoan Room was curated by Sir Arthur Evans and both the labels and objects are now in the Ashmolean Museum, University of Oxford.
