Fragment of a Nuzu ware pottery vessel found at Alalakh (Tell Atchana). Evans linked the decoration with the Minoan double axe sign. It was donated to the Ashmolean in 1937, after the BSA exhibition, along with other material from this site. Other pottery sherds were displayed but are not recognisable from the photograph.
