Now regarded as a forgery, this seal from the Thisbe Treasure shows man spearing a lion. Confusingly, it is described as a ‘pig-sticking’ scene in the printed catalogue because of the use of the spear. The similarities with the description in Evans’s publication of the Thisbe Treasure leaves no doubt that this is the same seal.
