CASE K. Gold seal from Thisbe Treasure

Now regarded as a forgery, this seal from the Thisbe Treasure shows a man chasing a woman with another wounded man behind. Evans regarded this as Orestes, Clytemnestra and Aegisthus. It has similarities with the ‘Battle in the Glen’ ring from Mycenae.
