Found at el-Kab in Egypt (also known as Kamena). Evans referred to it as a ‘moustache cup’ because of the incurving lip, not because this is an Egyptian name. In the Victorian period moustache cups were produced which had an internal ledge to keep a gentleman’s moustache dry when drinking.
